Passport
Passport is a document that has been issued officially by an authorized official of a country which contains all data and identity of the holder and applies to travel between countries, the passport consists of biodata holder which includes among others, photo holder, signature, place and date birth, nationality information and some other information about individual identification. There are times when a passport includes a list of countries that passport holders may not enter. For example, in the past, Indonesian passport holders were forbidden to visit the state of Israel as well Taiwan, and Currently some countries have issued so-called e-passport or electronic passports, e-passports are also the development of the current conventional passports, wherein the passport has also been implanted a chip containing all the complete holder data and data biometrics, the biometric data kept with the intention of further convincing that the person holding the passport is the true person who owns and is entitled to the possession of the passport.

Various Passports1. Ordinary Passport;Ordinary Passport is granted to Indonesian Citizens who will travel out and or enter the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, Ordinary Passport is granted on a request basis, Ordinary Passport is valid no later than 5 (five) years from the date of issuance. Ordinary Passport consists of two types, namely 48 (forty eight) pages and 24 (twenty four) pages for Indonesian Citizens. Passport 24 (twenty four) pages are given to Candidate Indonesian Workers who will work abroad. In Indonesia, this passport is given a green cover and is issued by the Directorate General of Immigration, Department of Justice and Human Rights.2. Diplomatic Passport;
A diplomatic passport is granted to a Civil Service Officer, a certain Country Official who will travel outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia to carry out diplomatic duties. A Diplomatic Passport shall also be given by his wife or husband and child of a Certain State Official or State Official or Citizen as referred to in paragraph 1), the request for diplomatic passport shall be submitted to the Minister of Foreign Affairs or the appointed Officer, the Diplomatic Passport shall be valid 5 (five) years since the date of issuance. This passport is issued to technicians and administrative officers of a diplomatic mission such as embassies and consulates or to civil servants / governments performing their overseas duties. Holders of this type of passport get some conveniences that are not owned by ordinary passport holders. In Indonesia, this passport is given a blue cover and is issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after obtaining permission from the Secretariat of State. The grant of an official passport shall be made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs or appointed Official, the Office Passport shall be valid for 5 (five) years from the date of issuance.4. Passport for Foreigner;
A passport for a Foreigner is given to a foreigner who resides in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia and will travel outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. Passports for Foreigners shall only be granted to foreigners who: have a Permanent Stay Permit; does not have a valid Travel Document from his country or any other country; In a deemed time it is not possible to obtain a valid travel document from his country or another country; and Not exposed to preventive measures. A foreign passport is valid for 1 (one) outbound and inland journey and valid for 2 (two) years from the date of issuance. Passport for Foreigners contains 24 (twenty four) pages. An example of this passport is a passport used for pilgrimage (brown passport), issued by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Visa
A visa is a document issued by a country that will grant a person permission to enter the country for a certain period of time and purpose, of course, but most countries require the ownership of a visa to enter a foreign citizen, even if there are other schemes, usually will be stamped or affixed directly to the receiver's passport.
